PulPac and Future Materials Enter Strategic Partnership to Explore New Segments in Fiber-Based Packaging

PulPac, the global leader in Dry Molded Fiber technology, and Future Materials Sweden, a Swedish innovation company with extensive expertise in injection molding and tool manufacturing, have entered into a strategic partnership. Together, the companies aim to accelerate the transition from plastic to fiber-based packaging solutions across new applications and market segments.

Future Materials Sweden brings deep production engineering expertise, market insight, and strong entrepreneurial drive. Combined with PulPac’s patented Dry Molded Fiber technology, the partnership creates new opportunities for brands to reduce their dependence on single-use plastics by exploring new product categories and applications for fiber-based packaging.

“We are very excited to partner with PulPac and contribute together to a positive transformation within the packaging industry,” says Morgan Svensson, Founder of Future Materials Sweden. “Together, we are building a strong platform for both innovation and growth. As demand for better packaging alternatives continues to increase, responsible use of materials and resources is becoming not only a value-driven decision, but also a clear competitive advantage.”

Sanna Fager, Chief Commercial Officer at PulPac, adds:

“Dry Molded Fiber opens opportunities far beyond food packaging, where the technology has already established itself.

There are still many areas left to explore, and partnerships like this one — built on experience, market knowledge, and the right mindset — allow us to move forward in an efficient and scalable way. Together, we are driving the transition toward packaging solutions that are both sustainable and economically viable to produce.”

PulPac’s patented Dry Molded Fiber technology enables the production of high-performance fiber-based packaging with efficient use of materials and resources while offering extensive design flexibility. The technology uses renewable raw materials and significantly less water and energy compared to traditional fiber molding methods. Together with its partners, PulPac’s mission is to replace single-use plastics globally at scale.
